About FraudGuard
FraudGuard is an independent awareness project focused on one problem: fraud is growing faster than public awareness of it. Every day in Pakistan, people lose money to fake payment screenshots, phishing SMS, bogus bank calls, and "double your money" schemes — not because they are careless, but because the tricks are designed to look legitimate.
What we do
We break down real scam tactics into plain-English guides:
- How each scam works — step by step, so you can recognize the pattern.
- Red flags — the warning signs to watch for before you act.
- Protection steps — practical things you can do immediately to stay safe.
How we work
- Every guide is checked against official sources (FIA, PTA, SECP, State Bank of Pakistan) before publication.
- We never publish unverified statistics or sensational claims.
- We never ask readers for personal, banking, or account details.
What we are not
FraudGuard is not a law firm, a bank, or a government agency. We provide general awareness information, not legal or financial advice. If you have lost money to fraud, report it to the FIA Cybercrime Wing — see our Disclaimer for details.
